Our Story

Kindphoto-14370.HEIC

It began over 10,000 years ago when the springs provided refreshingly pure water to the local inhabitants as later confirmed by Archeology excavations.  In 1822, our fourth great-grandfather moved from the East to be the first family to settle in an area with abundant water flowing into a large bay known as Inda Bay (as with many historical names, it has several different documented spellings- Indie, India, Inda- this last is the most recent).  He named his home Indie Plantation as seen in the picture below.  After building, he wrote the following to his family who lived far away in an effort to entice them to move to his new settlement:

His extended family (seen in the wagon crossing the springs) would come to Indie to make their homes in Hancock County, MS  and Hancock would become Harrison and then present-day Stone County, MS.  Two-hundred years later, our family is still here imbibing the uniquely clear and refreshing spring water.

Eight generations of family heritage who now want to share this pure water with you…
